The Intelligence of the Body

Precise and accurate knowledge

« Intelligence is already here, within our body — perhaps the most sophisticated and subtle technology known. »

Our body builds our matter, our feelings, our energy and our thoughts: the quality, coherence and vibration of our food shape our state of vitality and mind.

This book unfolds in three movements. The first explores our living matter: the energy that runs through us, the bricks and salts that build us, then the gesture — cooking, the source — that turns food into care. The second brings three great intelligences of the body into conversation — Ayurveda, the Macrobiotic way, Biohacking — three ways of reading the living world and tuning it. The third no longer asks what we are made of, but what we become: clarity of mind, the drive to act, the inner tides, and the great rest that repairs everything — and closes the book.

  1. I

    Energy

We do not eat — we burn stored light. A solar machine running on two fuels, sugar and fat: here we follow the most luminous fruits, the most living oils, and the art of absorbing more of what we eat.

  2. II

    Proteins

Meat does not make proteins — it borrows them from plants. We go back to the source: what a protein truly is, where to find it in the plant world, and the genius of seeds, pulses and hemp.

  3. III

    Minerals

The body is living geology: every mineral becomes enzyme, bone, nerve, thought. From salt — the first of them all — to the major minerals, and the kitchen gesture that finally makes them assimilable.

  4. V

    Recipes

A whole collection of living recipes — from everyday bowls to longevity broths, from raw sweets to mineral ferments.

  5. VI

    Ingredients & Suppliers

My dearest foods and my hidden-gem suppliers — the ones that make plant food nourishing and delicious — along with the books, tables and voices that shaped my cooking.

  6. VII

    Ayurvedic Intelligence

Three thousand years before the microscope, Ayurveda already read the meal as a complete sensory pharmacology. The six tastes, the three qualities, the digestive fire and its clock — and what science now confirms.

“Read, experiment, celebrate — the body can be a supreme vehicle of consciousness and sensitivity.”
